  • Reflection of pregnancy and birth
  • Self-soothing techniques
  • Appropriate referrals as needed

The Holistic by Nature Postpartum (Only) Doula Package

Postpartum (Only) Doula Package is comprised of 12 postpartum visits that contain the following:

  • Breastfeeding information, guidance & support
  • Sibling adjustment as needed
  • Babywearing methods
  • Self-soothing techniques
  • Newborn care information (safe sleep) and assistance
  • Holistic recovery practices (herbal baths, breath work, yoga and meditation)
  • Generate parent(s) intentions (self care, ways to optimize parenting roles as well as roles separate from parenting and as an individual)
  • Birth reflection
  • Appropriate referrals as needed

Jemilla is an excellent doula! She was a partner, support and resource in every way. As a first time mom I had some fear and anxiety about my pregnancy. Jemilla met with my husband and I regularly, helped us to visualize the process, and gave us really useful techniques for labor (breathing, swaying etc) that came in really handy. She held my hand through labor and delivery, was an advocate when I had to have surgery immediately after delivery, and continued to support us with lactation advice and baby wearing once we got home. I highly highly recommend working with her. She is kind, compassionate, warm, and above all knowledgeable.

I’m so glad I found Jemilla! The entire experience was wonderful from the initial consultation to the final postpartum visit. I could tell she was passionate about birth work from the moment I first spoke with her during consultation. I enjoyed the prenatal visits and how she included my husband. During labor she provided counter pressure during my contractions and talked me through each wave. When she suggested a different laboring position, baby was out in the next push! She also provided a postpartum meal which was delicious! I will recommend her to everyone and I hope she can be part of my next pregnancy journey in the future!
